Application Do’s and Don’ts

As you are working on your Tomorrow’s Leaders application, keep these important “do’s” and “don’ts” in mind!

DO: Use the same email address for all steps of the application, including submission of university specific applications.

The email address that you use to create an account and start your application, should be the same one you use for every step of the application. You should use that same email address when you sign up for the ASU English assessment, when you submit the AUB and AUC graduate applications [graduate applicants only], and when you contact us.

DO: Translate requested documents into English.

If your documents are in another language, then you will need to have them translated into English. While official translations are preferred, they are not required. Always submit the original versions along with the translated versions.

DO: Attend Tomorrow’s Leaders webinars!

The Tomorrow’s Leaders webinars are a great resource for applicants. You can get useful tips and answers to your questions, so make sure to attend. Register now for the Application Walkthrough webinar!

DO: Contact us if you have questions.

Contact us on social media (@TLMEPI on Facebook/Instagram/Twitter-X/LinkedIn/YouTube) or by email at help@TomorrowsLeadersProgram.org (using the same email address in your application). You can also schedule a one-on-one appointment with us to go over your specific questions or concerns.

DON’T: Use AI to write your essays.

While AI can be a valuable tool, your essay responses must be your original work. The use of AI, such as ChatGPT or Gemini, in any part of the Tomorrow’s Leaders application will result in disqualification. Showcase your personal style by writing your essays in your own words.

DON’T: Misrepresent any information in your application.

Providing false information in your application will result in disqualification. Make sure the information you provide is true and accurate.

DON’T: Wait until the last minute.

While we are here to help with your questions, we cannot guarantee support for last-minute inquiries or application submissions. To avoid any issues, start working on your application early and submit it well before the deadline of November 29, 2024.
