Alumni Success Story: Montaha Nottah from Libya

November 2026

Meet Montaha from Libya, a Tomorrow’s Leaders alumna who graduated with Distinction in Political Studies from the American University of Beirut.

Through leadership workshops, annual retreats, and hands-on training opportunities, Montaha developed practical skills in leadership, teamwork, negotiation, public speaking, and cross-cultural communication. She credits these experiences with helping her build the confidence and adaptability needed to take on new challenges and leadership opportunities.

Those experiences helped shape her leadership approach and gave her the confidence to turn ideas into action. Today, one of her proudest achievements is founding Sobol Organization for Peace & Development, where she transformed an idea into a registered organization and took on the responsibility of building, leading, and developing the organization from the ground up.

Montaha’s journey reflects how leadership development, practical experience, and continuous learning can help prepare students to take on leadership roles and pursue ambitious goals.
